Meet Ran Wei
RAN WEI BAKER is a tech marketing executive turned leadership coach, bilingual children’s book author, and founder of Boba Bear Bilingual. Born in Tsingtao, China, she now lives in Maplewood with her husband and two daughters, who are her greatest teachers.
Through her coaching practice, Project Presence, Ran partners with ambitious professionals navigating growth, identity, and leadership transitions. She helps leaders find their voice and lead with greater clarity and confidence, especially in seasons that stretch them.
As the founder of Boba Bear Bilingual, she writes children’s books that celebrate culture, language, and the experience of growing up between worlds. Her newest book, Wo Ai Ni: I Love You Forever and Our Family, will be released this fall, inspired by the everyday rituals and quiet expressions of love that shape childhood.
Whether she is coaching, writing, or simply being a mom, Ran cares deeply about helping people feel rooted in who they are. She is grateful to share her story through Listen to Your Mother and to stand alongside a community that honors the many ways we mother, remember, and belong.
